Yes, but isn't this is already handled fine, having the following?
(where "name" really means "adjective")

name=_("English")
plural=_("English")

name=_("Incan")
plural=_("Incas")


Actually I'm still a bit confused about "Incan", because
in the dictionary entry which gives "Incan" (adjective), there 
are references to "the Inca empire", and "Inca influence", which 
it would have seemed would become "Incan empire" etc if "Incan" 
were the generically correct adjective? :-/

And?  I guess you are meaning that "The <wonder-name>" is not
a good construction in general?
