Yes, it's yet another GTK+ freeciv client version, you can get it at the
usual place at:

<http://camoes.rnl.ist.utl.pt/~vasc>

This version resizes the main map when you resize the toplevel window:
  -this is for you Per :-)

=== To clarify any doubts

 * the "full version" includes the standard freeciv-1.7.2 version, with
   server, etc + the integrated Xaw & GTK+ client.
 * the "just the client" includes only the integrated Xaw & GTK+ client +
   the new configure script.
 * "the new tiles" are a sized down, modified version of Ralf Engels
   tiles.  None of the above versions include the new tiles.
