Agreed.

I think the real problem comes if the people doing cvs checkins
have different versions (or differently localised versions) of
automake/autoconf.  But with relatively few people doing checkins
maybe we can avoid this problem.  (Well, until freeciv becomes
more gnome-sized :-)
