Hello,
I followed exactly what you have written below.
I've got a standard hamm distrib on a p 166.
Source are freeciv-cvs-Nov-07.tar.bz2
When i launch civclient, it writes :
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Actions not found: key-city-workers
Error: Widget unitbelowcanvas3 has zero width and/or height
When i tried to launch after compiling using ./configure it writes
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
Warning: Cannot convert string "econlabels" to type Widget
and segfault

Ps : there was already a debian directory in the freeciv directory.
I also tried with it and obtain a freeciv-1.6.0.deb version which
crash with a segfault.
