Hi Jeff,

First suggestion: snag Debian 2.1.  It should be a lot easier to
install.  I don't think CheapBytes and friends have it yet, but you
can order it from http://netgod.net/.

Secondly, you're going to have to give specifics.  What packages,
exactly what error messages, and exactly what keys you're pressing.
Are you installing from the CD?  Are you using apt?  What are the
parameters set in the "Access" section in dselect?  Things like this.
I can probably help you if I have that information, but otherwise,
with about 2000 packages, it's a bit like looking for a needle in a
haystack.

Also, FYI, it's not possible to install every single package on the
Debian CD.  This is due to conflicts.  For instance, Debian comes with 
about a dozen different mail servers, but you can only have one on
your system at any one time.  That sort of thing.  So I do not
recommend picking that option unless you have... a) LOTS of disk space 
to burn, and b) lots of time to spend figuring out dependencies :-)
