My install would stop with signal 11 or 7 in about the same point of the
install.  I was using a *very* old 3x SCSI CD drive.  After checking all
the cables connections, etc.. and trying a different drive, I finally went
to put the RH CD away and noticed it had a thick layer of dust all over it.
After cleaning it off, (and blowing the dust out of the original CD drive,
everything worked fine...

Hope your solution is this easy...

Dan-
I've run into this before what I have concluded is that it is due to
scratched media... I concluded this by getting another CD and all problems
were resolved.

It is all compatible don't worry I tried the install on every PC in the
office with high end hardware and it didn't change things the only thing
that did resolve was different media.
