complete.org runs the following:

 * Majordomo for the automated list functions (subscribe, unsubscribe, 
   etc).  I hope to write my own replacement eventually, because
   Majordomo has some annoying deficiencies, but there is nothing
   better that I can afford.

 * sendmail is the MTA (Mail Transfer Agent) that handles delivery
   and routing of mail.

 * Debian's lists-archives is used for the archives, but I've hacked
   it up quite a bit.  It, in turn, calls mhonarc to do the
   actual conversion from the archives to HTML.
