Lucky enough, it is not the winmodem, so I can use it on Unix. I don't
know where is the problem, but it works now.
I reinstalled the OS yesterday and using my modem again. It didn't
work yesterday right away, but somehow it works today.
I am thinking back to the problem, and remembered that I wasn't able to
use my modem since I setup my sound card. Can anyone tell me how to check
out the interupt number for some device such as modem, sound card, or
mouse and so on.

Thanks a lot!
