This may be a dumb question, but wouldn't setting idlefolders to an
empty list (or just not setting it at all) mean that IDLE is never sent,
and hence that hanging and crashing should not occur?
I've been using offlineimap without any crashing/hanging since the 6.1.0
update, I'm pleased to say. Of course I'm also aware that nothing is
ever a bug until it bites you in the ass.
I will try using idlefolders and see if that makes a difference to the
stability of my setup.
