Hi all,

Been using offlineimap for a couple of months now, its a terrific app,
thanks so much for this. I use it to keep my own store of my gmail in
maildir format, and access it using evolution's maildir capabilities.

Unfortunately, I seem to be getting problems with weird error messages
in the situation where I use evo to copy messages from another account
into my offlineimap maildir. Seems to be related to evo using a
different naming system than offlineimap.

Anyway, I've been thinking of setting up an IMAP server locally for evo
to connect to. The only issue is I'm having trouble weighing the merits
and utility of dovecot, courier-imap, and cyrus imap, specifically for
serving up offlineimap's maildirs. From what I've read, courier-imap has
more 'features', dovecot seems faster with large mailboxes, and cyrus
seems the oldest of the bunch. However, this is based on a scattering of
information (most of which is pretty old) so I'd like to ask here, what
do all of you use to serve up your offlineimap store?

Thanks much,
Ng Oon-Ee
