Oh, I *really* do like Maildir... it's elegant in so many ways.
It's just unfortunate that no current file system is geared towards
performing well on large maildirs.
There's also the fact that for a 200,000 message maildir... readdir,
open,read,close and sorting the resultant mess to produce a listing of
messages is a lot of syscalls.
