hmm, not completely true ... i'd consider having my entire mp3
collection (which are all owned by my user, not root) wiped out definite
harm ;)

searching online for "linux trojan" "linux security" "unix security"
comes up with many, many hits ... i actually saw the command you mention
listed in a freebsd security guide, too ... i'd write up some tips, but
there are much more comprehensive guides available out there on
google...
