[linux-help] Nagios config help

Greetings,

Has anyone worked with Nagios (used to be NetSaint)?

I'd really like to use it for network / server monitoring but I can't seem
to get it fully operational.

I've installed it, configed, and when I try to start the daemon I get a
"lock file could not be found" error message.
