Please don't hit me.  I did look for something called 
"requirements" and didn't find it.  Most of the docs I found 
were in German.  I learned that "inhaltsvertzeichnis" means 
table of contents.

The last paragraph of my "review" does say I was quite 
impressed.  And I was.  I believe Knoppix is a big step forward 
in ease of installation.  As I recall, it only asked me one 
question about the hardware - giving a choice of no of 
characters per line and lines per screen.  I chose 80x25 from 
about 10 choices.  Everything else it found on its own.

A number of attributes can be assigned or changed at boot time 
- I didn't study these or try any of them.  Maybe I could have 
had a better screen - the monitor I was using is 1024x768 
capable.

I believe we will see more of Knoppix.
