I would tell you as soon as I have something to tell you about:  I haven't
touched Japanese IME yet.  I'll probably go with Canna/kinput2 for a
starter, and see how that goes.  I'm planning to work on this project during
my 2-weeks holiday break, so I should be able to have some result in some
near future.
