heh, depends who you're talking to...  according to microsoft a local
printer can reside on the network...  AND, a printer isn't a printer
anymore...  it's a "print device"...  a printer (in MS-speak) is just an
icon that represents a printer...  man, with all this crazy crap that ms
does with naming, it's no wonder there are so many clueless computer users
out there! ;)
