really?  huh, glad i didn't fork out any extra then! : ^ )  i think you're
right about the 5.1 from what i've read, but i'm not positive either...

dumb question, but what uses a digital headphone-style jack?  i'd never seen
anything that uses something other than RCA-style or fibre before i got this
card...
