In redhat try typing "Xconfigurator" at the root command line (ctrl-alt-f1,
login as root). It should autodetct the card, as you indicate it does.
(Question: is it a Creative Labs clone? (the "blaster" in the name seems to
indicate it)) When it asks for a monitor chose custom, and then the line that
is similar to -non interlaced SVGA 60 Hz capable of 1024x768- or something
like it. If that doesn't work, try using a lower resolution, say 800x600 to
see if that is the problem.
