Hi Patrick, I'm mobile in Michigan right now and don't have my linux
stuff with me but here goes. lp0 is for your printer. My zip drive is
set up as /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip. I have to use msdos instead of vfat so it
looked like: mount msdos /dev/sda4 /mnt/zip. To be able to mount as user
you will have to make an entry in /etc/fstab. You should be able to find
all this in a zip drive howto. Another thing I had to do was in a
terminal as root do a (hope I have this right) ismod parport and hit
return then insmod ppa. I put these two lines in /etc/rcd/sysini (I
think I have this right) and with the entries in fstab I can then click
on the zip Icons I have on the desktop to mount the zip. I am fairly new
to linux so maybe someone else will add to this. I never could get vfat
to work, only msdos. I had a heck of a time getting my zip installed.
All the guys who tried to help just never got through to me and I
finally got it working by trial and error. Good luck.
