Hello,

I seem to remember that something has been changed in the happiness
system, and it seems that its now impossible to get cities to rapture.
But I don't get it - can you explain?

In a Republic, 80 % Luxury, 103 cities, standard rules and options,
I have a city size 7 and want it go to rapture; the governor is
adjusted as such but can't be enabled (see pics). Now the happiness tab
says:

103 total, 90 over threshold of 13 cities, 4 content before penalty
with 7 additional unhappy citizens.

Now I understand: 4 unhappy, 3 content, plus 7 content citizens
becoming unhappy. That gives 3 unhappy and 4 very unhappy (?) citizens,
right?

1: Do these very unhappy citizens exist? I can't see a server option.

2: what do the graphics mean? 2 * Unhappy + 5 * '$'?

Row 2, now one unhappy C. becomes content due to 2 luxury

Row 3, Colloseum, Electr.+Coll., Temple, Myst+Temple, Michelan.,
Theol.+Mich., Commun.+Mich., that gives 3 + 1 + 1 + 1 + 3 + 1 -1 = 9
Right?

But I see 2 content and 5 dollar signs. Now this seems wrong.

What does the dollar sign mean?

Row 5, no mil. units, this is correct.

Row 6, JS Bachs, seems to have no effect?!

Christian
