Indeed tinydent (which is essentially a scaled trident tileset, but
with some manual postprocessing to make it prettier) is just a kludge
for lack of arbitrary tile scaling. And if Karl-Ingo's solution
is essentially to generate umpteen tinydent tilesets as they are needed,
you can say it is just a kludge for lack of a real vector-based
drawing system. Too uncool to be a good programmer's project within
Freeciv.

But that is for a different ticket number. On this ticket I just
wanted to make the point that as lo-tech and uncool it may be,
to add tinydent to the distribution would be very useful to players.
Dynamic scaling would mostly be used to switch to a somewhat broader view
of the map, i.e. the tinydent view, and back; and that is exactly what
having tinydent as a standard client feature will give you.
