Per points out that we can set a maximum size of the mapview at the GUI
level.  So long as the mapview isn't increased beyond this size, there
will be no problem.

The drawback is there is no guarantee that this maximum size will be
larger than the *minimum* size already imposed by the GUI.  For
microtrident on a very small iso-map this would be a virtual certainty,
I think.

When the mapview and map line up, the maximum size is easy.  When they
don't line up it's a bit more complicated, but more importantly it must
be reduced by 50%.
