Outline Fonts:
     
     Truetype
     Compugraphic Intellifont
     DMF 
     IFF RFF
     Postscript Type1
     Postscript Type3
     
Bitmap Fonts:

     Adobe ABF
     Amiga Bitmap
     Softlogik Bitmap (Typesmith-specific I think)

In other words nothing particularly useful when it comes to Bitmap
fonts.

Apparently though, ABF fonts are the binary version of a BDF font and
Freetype can read BDF fonts.  Perhaps there is a ABF <> BDF converter
somewhere?
