I have TypeSmith but it can't load or save .FON files :-(
It can save .abf files (Adobe/Postscript bitmap fonts) though. Is
this format any use?

All Amiga bitmap fonts use the ECMA-94 Latin1 International 8 bit
character set. Support for other alphabets is done by using a
seperate font.
