An updated version of the generalised calendars patch can now be found
as calendar-20020813.patch at http://freecivac.sf.net/.

Changes from 20020801:-
 - Remove most of the "special behaviour" for space components. Now the
game switches irrevocably to a hard-coded "Space Age" calendar at
1 year/turn when the first spaceship is launched, rather than switching
to the nth-to-last calendar when the technology for the nth-to-last
spacecraft component is discovered. This results in much cleaner
code, and does not require ruleset authors to work around this
   "feature".
