To me - but I'm not someone with much Freeciv code - it didn't seem as
if the patch was a autonomous useful contribution, but rather, part one
of an avalanche that would inevitably lead to something that would be
much easier to accoomplish in C++, so I suggested doing that instead.
Perhaps my impression was wrong, perhaps the patch on its own already
improved Freeciv.
