Well this may be a dead thread and off topic, but I just got back from
vacation...
I played this game even more than I played the original Civ. I bet I
could remember most (if not all) the rules. But I don't think the
games are very compatable. I can see a day way down the road when this
might be possible, but there are so many pressing needs in Freeciv that
don't quite relate to this.
Speaking of pressing needs... I am going to have to start paying for
bandwidth soon on the two Freeciv machines (www and civserver), if I
can't move them to where I currently work, which I am working on, so
any compression in the protocol would be nice on my pocketbook ;)
