I did "plan" to write mapgen.ruleset, but seems like it is not

I've been thinking about it as I am (secretly) toying with the idea of
turning the freeciv source into my own little hack&slash, dungeons&dragons
multiplayer game with randomly generated maps; although I know perfectly
well that I will most likely never get around to do it.

How did you "plan" to write a mapgen.ruleset? I was thinking of some
simple extensions to an existing script language that could be run from
freeciv much like eggdrop uses TCL.

GUILE could also be used for this; since there are apparently [very]
tentative plans to make Freeciv guile-extensible at some point in the
future, this could be somewhere to start...
