Yup.  I build all libs in Cygwin (running under Windows NT 4.0SP6a)
and then use a Cygwin CVS I built to check out the code (which I
also build under Cygwin).

I'm currently running a Cygwin 20.1 base, with a later snapshot and
the GCC 2.95.2 release from Mumit Khan.  All the libs were built
locally.

I have a Perl script that builds the post install batch file (to
get the files in the right subdirectories), handles files with the
same name, and builds the file list for the installer I use.
