You can't copyright the layout of a game board. You can trademark it.
The Monopoly game board is an example. If you could copyright
appearance then no one would be able to use windows, menu bars, fonts,
etc in any program.

I would vote for it as long as it was optional. Personally, I won't
use it. I like the trident tileset.
