Thue's fog of war patch is running on civserver.freeciv.org:5560,
for the purpose of playtesting. An introduction can be found at
http://www.freeciv.org/~hop/patches/fog/
I hope one of the CVS maintainers will include this patch asap: it is
a step towards Civ II compatibility, it will reduce the 'expansion is
everything' problem, and it is visually appealing.
