   I agree to what you have said. But, I was wondering if there is a way
to keep version compatible between change of rulesets. As it will 
probably be 1.8.1 and 1.8.2 will be incompatible. But, with a default
modpack , they will follow the same rules. When a saved game is load,
absent field are set to a default value and unknown field are ignored.
This system is backward and forward compatible. Saved game from 1.8.0 can
be load with a 1.7.2 version. I'd like a similar system to be available
for ruleset.
