And if we had the CVS messages on a seperate list everything
would be ok for all of us. (without making filters)

And the only reason I see for _not_ leaving them out is:
  none, except for the trouble of creating the new list.

If I am the only one who cares then just forget it :-)
But if there are some who think that splitting the list is a
good idea and a lot who don't care, why not just do it ?

Maybe I am just making a big fuss out of nothing, but to me it seem
stupid to subscribe to a mailing list and then set up a filter
to ignore many of the messages.  I receive enough other emails
in my inbox as is....

If you all just think this is silly, then just forget it :-/
