So it's much like MS Virtual PC? I used Virtual PC on XP in the A+
course the company put me through last year. I did have to set a
couple of boot options to get KNOPPIX going it, though. Otherwise it
worked fairly well. A session could be suspended, saved to disk, and
restarted later as though no interruption occured. Does VMWare do
that?

It seemed like the wireless on the T42 I used didn't work with Virtual
PC, but the built-in Ethernet adaptor was reliable. After doing a few
installs, we really didn't use it much. The company took the laptop
back so I don't have access to all that anymore. The course did
confirm my opinion that MS stuff is not ready for prime time. ;-)
