I thought I should say that both of these topics sound great John! DNI
looked at LVS a while back but have heard that it has matured a lot since
then.

* Debian. Debian is, well, one of those "different" distributions.

* Linux Virtual Servers. Different ways you can take a single machine

We struggle with topics for NLUG too. We discussed basic bandwidth
throttling at the last meeting. If people are interested, I would be
happy to give a more advanced bandwidth management presentation at the
ACLUG or at the next NLUG... or even as a small group on the side. Much
like the linux-tivo group a few months ago.

You can use a Linux router to perform very specific bandwidth throttling
(ie: by protocol, ip address(es), etc). Neat stuff! It seemed that few
in the NLUG crowd had a practical use for anything more than the basics
though.

I receive the digest for this list. Sometimes I don't see the meeting
announcements and related messages for a day or two. Just an FYI if I'm
slow to reply.
