yes, it provides a man page for grep, egrep and fgrep.
Note the following. man -k * |grep lsof returns nothing, but man -k lsof
returns a summary of lsof ?????
[bruce@bertha bruce]$ man -k * |grep lsof
[bruce@bertha bruce]$ man -k lsof
CellsOfScreen [BlackPixelOfScreen] (3x) - screen information functions and
macros
lsof (8) - list open files
