If You Plan on doing this, I don't think you should 
do it now. Wait til next year, sometime between
May and November after the 2.6 Kernel is released
and Redhat and other distro's have refined
and fine-tuned Linux and the Interface.
 Because of GNOME the RedHat Interface
Isn't done yet.
 One or maybe two more releases of RedHat
or whatever Distro you wish and the Windows
crowd will want it.
 Until then You can make plans.
Just a suggestion.
