  I think that one of the mini distros on the site above will work.
Several say that they are for 386 machines. One or two even
have specs for as little as 8 Meg ram.
  The hard drive space is going to be a problem, however.
An old 840 Meg drive would be more than enough for any
of the small distros and are available for very reasonable cost.
