That doesn't make sense, since my distribution (Mandrake 6.0) is glibc based,
and the version of quake that I got was also supposed to be glibc based. 

In any case, now that the SVGAlib version is running, the x11 version is
irrevelant to me.

But I have a new problem, I think I'll start a new post on it thought...
