You might try CyberTron, 1021 E. Murdock, Wichita.  The other day they
had motherboards from EPOX, FIC, ASUS, and ABIT in stock.  Also some
cheapie brands.  Their main push is wholesale sales, but they sell to
walk-ins as well.  I have talked to them about stocking parts that work
in NON-windoze machines (real modems, X-supported video, quality
motherboards, etc), and they have expressed interest in this.  

So, Linux People, if you are in the store, talk to them about Linux. 
Tell them you are part of ACLUG, and let's see if we can help develop a
local source of good parts.
