I'm glad you found it. I've been down that road. There's so many little
things that need changed when you move a box from one network to another.
The worst part is when you move it to a new domain. There's about a dozen
files that need changed depending on what services you are running. I'm
still finding things wrong from when I moved from a "made up" domain to a
real one. Many cause no real harm, it's just that the logs look screwy.
Others behave in unexpected ways because of this. This is one place where I
can see a value in a central registry. Change the domain name in one place
and everything gets updated.
