Well, no, the board's probably not worth $30, but it's what he's got and he
can't afford to replace it right now. It just needs a new flash download,
not a chip replacement. The problem is that FIC's ftp site in Taiwan hasn't
been responding for several days. Their websites (worldwide) still work, but
they ALL point back to the ftp site to get the bios update code & flash
utility, so I can't get it.

(and yeah, if we counted time as money, the work we've both done already
trying to get that new flash code would have paid for buying a new board...
but of course, trying to say your time is worth some certain amount never
really works 'cause even if it's worth that, you don't have the money in
your hand unless someone pays you for the time.)

I was just hoping that by chance someone had that same board & happened to
have a bios update for it laying around. I have updates for some of the
boards I used to have (or that my friends have).
