Hi,

Simple solution: you need to get ahold of a Linux CD set.  What you've 
downloaded is only one component, and that particular component is, in 
general, only useful if you already have a running Linux system.

I recommend RedHat for those that are new to Linux.  You may find a
copy at places like Best Buy or CompUSA, or you can order it for a lot 
less from a place like CheapBytes www.cheapbytes.org, although I
*HIGHLY* recommend that you purchase the manual along with the CD from 
CheapBytes.
