Ok, at the risk of having my inbox flooded with various
types of spam in punishment for
being a newbie, I submit this question.

I DL'd the latest kernel, 2.2.7.   Onto a 133mhz box with a
fresh install of nt. I unzipped it
and it showed up as one of those stupid generic "windows"
file types.  How do I install it as
an OS?  Mock me, cast aspersions in my direction but please
tell me how to get
Linux running on a box.... Thanks for your time .... Darrell
