I have the following lines in /etc/inetd.conf

# These are standard services.
#
ftp stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.ftpd -l -a
telnet stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.telnetd
gopher stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd gn

I checked in /usr/sbin and I don't find a file "ftpd". I do have tcpd
in /usr/sbin/tcpd.

I have tried removing and reinstalling FTP and wuFTP? and AnonFTP using
RPM's, but still nothing when I try to connect it in WS-FTP.

*** UPDATE ***
I can log in as anonymous, but not using my regular login. Using
anonymous, I am limited in the directories that I can see. I assume
this is a security feature. I would like to login using my regular
login and have access to my home directory, etc. Seems like I have some
problem with permissions.
