[aclug-L] FTP in Linux RH 5.2

I have RH 5.2 recently installed and working as a server on my Lan.  I
also have a SCO unix box on the Lan.  I can ping and telnet into both
systems.  I have WS_FTP95 that I got from Southwind. I can ftp files
from my SCO box, but for some reason I can't connect to Linux for ftp
purposes.  I have SAMBA on the linux system and it works great.  

I didn't specifically set up FTP on the Linux system as I though it
defaulted to that.  Is there some setup of FTP that I need to do on the
linux system in order to get it to connect.  I just get a message from
WS_FTP that "connection failed", but I know I have the right address and
login. 

Any suggestions will be appreciated.
