OK, now what you need is:
1) Some sort of network. Hopefully Ethernet, but SLIP will do.
2) Server configured and IP assigned for the X terminal.
3) Software for the X terminal. I have that and have sent it to at
least two others on this list by now. Contact me privately when
you need a copy and we can arrange it.
4) A working NFS setup. (You can also use TFTP, but NFS is much
easier to setup.)
5) xdm installed on your Linux box.
After that, you're set!
