[aclug-L] SAMBA, the Lion King... heh, heh

hey, can anyone out there help me out...  i am going to be hooked up to a
network of windoze machines (which i was on last year w/ my windoze box) so
i can share files, look at their shared files, and get internet through
them.  the protocols i had setup when i was in windoze last year were:
NetBEUI, TCP/IP, IPX/SPX, and the default Microsoft Client for Networks.
please help me out... i can supply my IP# they have assigned me, the
gateway, DNS and any other info you'll need to help me, if someone just
helps me...  i am still a newbie (i was installed at the install
thingy...but have had a total of about 3-4 weeks of linux experience), so
please use simple terms i would understand (a lot of the HOWTO's go over my
head quick), and explain what we are doing... this way, i can make
alterations/additions as needed w/o having to repost...
