Here is my opinion:

- Guest Speakers

        - Have a guest (or regular member) discuss their Linux specialty

        - Someone from a Linux run ISP
                - Discussion of why they chose Linux over other
alternatives (i.e. NT, Solaris, Digital Unix, BSD,
                  AIX, etc.).
                - Discussion of their implementation
                - The problems avoided by their choice and the problems
that a company like Feist (NT) is experiencing as a result
                  of their choice of OS.
                - Perhaps a tour of their facilities.

        - Someone from another (or several) businesses that chose Linux
          solutions.
                - Discussion of the problem and why Linux was the most
                  viable solution.
                - Discussion of any prejudice from management (i.e. Linux
                  is a hacker toy).
                - Detailed discussion of implementation and any pitfalls
that were encountered. Also, suggestions on how to
                  aviod such pitfalls.
                - Perhaps a tour of their facilities.

        - Someone from a company in which a Windows solution failed so
          they suceeded with Linux.

- A functional example of SAMBA
        - Demonstration including one or more windows machines
          and one or more printers.
        - Printer sharing when it's physically attached to the
          linux machine.
        - Printer sharing when it's on the network.
        - Discussion of LMHOSTS, smb.conf, etc.
        - Such considerations as "Does [public] really mean
"public" in the sense of regular windows file sharing?"
        - Dynamic mounting and unmounting of the CDROM
        - Restricting access

- A functional example of IP masq

Suggestion for basic meeting format:

During any type of Q&A allow someone from the audience a chance to
answer. I know that this is not dis-allowed, but it would allow
more people to actually participate rather than sit and listen.
