Here are the links to software that I spoke about on Monday.

http://www.freeswan.org/ - Unix IPSEC implmentation with Opportunistic
Encryption (OE).

http://nocat.net/ - NoCatAuth, user management for private and public
wireless networks.

www.neoware.com - i386 embedded appliance that runs linux (or any
software compiled for x86) on a flashable "disk-on-a-chip". Older unit
can be purchased on Ebay cheaply. The unit I use is a 3000C (Eon).

www.nycwireless.net - New York City free wireless collective. (lots of
great information).

Linux Ptrace local root vulnerability on all known kernels including and
previous to 2.4.20 -

proof of concept code for ptrace - http://www.bleepyou.com/ptrace.c
